The Xbox360 is the console to get hands down. PS2 is a great system, but it is outdated now. You get whole lot for your buck with the 360. You get to play online against or with your friends, you got Xbox Live Arcade, and you get new material for your games via downloads. I am very happy with this system. I also had a regular Xbox and I did not care for it. There was only a few games that was worth playing in my opinion, but the 360 is the opposite. If you are wondering between getting a 360, a PS3, or a Wii, I'd get the 360 first, the Wii second, and the PS3 last.

I have both and I think the PS2 is better because of the games. I am really looking forward to the PS3. I already played the system at EA headquarters in Redwood City, California and the games and the graphics I say are better on the ps3 then the xbox360. Plus I heard that the ps3 will be cheaper then the xbox360.

I would wait about a year before I bought an X-Box 360 or PS3 (no disrespect ma'am, but it's PS3). I would wait first of all because the darn things cost too much. Second, the very first batch of new video game systems tend to be problematic because they were rushed and not properly debugged. Third, there will be a small variety of games. Would it be worth spending hundreds of dollars for a system with only a handful of games?
My advice is to wait about a year or so after the next generation of systems come around. By then the systems will be less problematic, more inexpesive, and they'll have a wider variety of games.
Tip: If you do wait a while before you buy a system, you will be able to find second hand games at a cheaper price. Just insist that you look at the CD's condition first before you buy it.

Well, the PS2 is much cheaper than the XBOX 360, but the graphics and other features are not as good as the 360. You really can't compare the two.

i would say the xbox 360 for Great games, Online play, Awsome Graphics, and for the console to be a rich quility product.
The Play station 3 will have alot of problems due to Blu - Ray disks. The price for one is $600 and the xbox 360 is only $400
I own a xbox 360 and i am very happy of my decision
