I believe in ghosts and the supernatural- I find it all so fascinating! I've lurked around all of the paranormal websites I can find- if you're interested in ghost photos/true stories/legends, etc. a good website to go to is:

Check their 'ghost story archive' for peoples' true-life stories.
When I was younger (about 9-10 yrs old) I believed that I had had an encounter with ghosts... but these days I can't be certain over whether or not it was just the over-active mind of a child playing tricks...
My family and I were vacationing in this AWFUL, run-down shack of a holiday home that belonged to a friend of my dad's.
I always slept with my bedroom door wide open and the hallway light on, as I was afraid of the dark.
Sometime in the early hours of the morning, I opened my eyes to see a slightly transparent couple standing at the door, looking into the room- an elderly man in a suit and a young woman (in her early twenties, I would say) with wavey hair in what looked like a long, white night-gown (of sorts).
I looked to the other bed where my sister was sleeping to see if she'd noticed anything and then back to the door, but they were gone... I didn't sleep a wink for the rest of those holidays.
Months later, my dad was talking to his work colleage who we had borrowed the house from (Dad didn't know about what I had seen) and his friend mentioned that many of the guests of that house noticed some "strange" things- voices, lights and appliances turning on and off, things going missing and turning up in weird places, cold spots- etc. and that the house used to be the old doctors' surgery for that local area.
Many people had died on that very property where I thought I saw those people, and judging by the style of their clothes, it would very likely have been from around the same period that the house was a surgery.
Definitely spooky! It gives me the creeps just typing about it... I guess I'll never know for sure though!

I believe in ghosts, but ghosts are usually somewhat transparent. It looks like a bad photo of someone walking or running through a doorway. You could find something much more realistic looking than that.
I'm really into ghosts, too. And I love watching shows about it, or reading books. I have this huge book of America's most haunted places and it has lists of locations and stories from each state. It's really cool. But yeah, I still don't believe that's a real ghost. lol I'm surprised people actually find the picture interesting and think it's actually a ghost.

Well I'm not entirely sure if I neccesarily believe or not but two suspicious things have happened to me that I can't explain. One was when I was filming my staffroom at work on my mobile phone. The room was empty apart from me but when I played it back there was a middle aged woman with short dark hair sat on the seat across from me. The other incident was when I was sat watching a film and put my glass of water on the heavy glass and metal coffee table. The coffee table made a sudden movement and my water splashed everywhere. I saw the table quickly move a few inches on its own accord and I heard it scrape along the floor.
I couldn't find an explanation for either occurance.

I definitely believe that there is some sort of paranormal activity, but whether its ghost/spirits who knows? I looked up ghost in a topical search for the Bible and here is what came up:
Isaiah 29:4 (Whole Chapter)
Brought low, you will speak from the ground; your speech will mumble out of the dust. Your voice will come ghostlike from the earth; out of the dust your speech will whisper.
Matthew 14:26 (Whole Chapter)
When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear.
Mark 6:49 (Whole Chapter)
but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out,
Luke 24:37 (Whole Chapter)
They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost.
Luke 24:39 (Whole Chapter)
Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have."
SO its quite interesting that even in Bible times they believed in ghosts. But you don't see them delving into the study of it and what not. Its just kinda out there.
I have a video of a "ghost". The family had gone back to a very old family cabin that still existed and it was not too far from a graveyard. It is quite eery, it is about 6 seconds long and it opens the gate for our grandmother and then looks back at the camera. WHen my aunt took the 8 mm. picture (back in the early 60s) she said no one was there, and could not hardly believe their eyes when they had the film developed and saw the apparition. The grandmother (born 1903) said that she recognized the apparition as a relative that she remembered from visiting the home around 1906 or so.

This is a slower shutter speed on the camera in low light.
The person is moving to close the door.
Interesting shot though.
Yeah, why wouldn't ghosts exist?
