We're thinking of relacating to the Colorado Springs area. What can you tell me that may be helpful??

Yes we are relocating, not relactating - been done with that for a few years now!!
My husband and I are early 40's we have 3 children 11, 8 & 3. My oldest daughter and I like to ride horses and we are all looking forward to learning to ski. We're not about nightclubs or bingo! We look for family entertainment and nice places for a dinner if by some miracle we manage a date night now and then. Thanks for you're intput everyone.

I live in SE Michigan, but.... I have visited Colorado Springs.

Go to see Garden of the Gods park. They are rock formations. Free and beautiful..

Go to the USAF Academy. You can see a lot of it and the museum. You might see some pilot trainees flying gliders.

Explore the hobby of R/C electric flying.

Explore the hobby of skiing.

Go to the Vietnamese restaurants. Interesting food.

Have a newer car that can handle the altitude. Newer cars have computerized carbuerator micro-adjustments.

I have lived here since 1969 and haave seen the city grow from 75,000 to almost a half a million. The biggest problem is the traffic, but it is still a GREAT place to live. Scenary is stunning, schools are some of the best, and access to recreation is great.

Where are you coming from?
We love living here - have a couple of kids around the same ages as yours. The schools are good - tons of Family things to do in the state - Check out a book called Fun with Kids in Colorado - gives you tons of ideas. I don't think we have a bingo place, and the nightclubs are lame anyway, so you are in luck! Feel free to contact me if you want me to send you a relo package with more info....

Lived here 3 yrs now and love it! Your question is too vague...what do you enjoy doing and what kind of "helpful" info are you wanting? Are you 20 and want to go out 3 nights a week...90 and want the low down on Bingo parlours?

I lived there a long time ago but it was absolutely beautiful there. I've heard that it has grown a lot since I've been gone.

You'll never find a more crystal blue sky, I'll tell you that.
