The message that comes up is "CoCreatelstance for my yahoo DLL failed. What is the problem and how do I fix it?

dll (dynamic linked library) file got corrupted/lost who knows. try a re-install of the exe. for yahoo; and make sure you are internet connected, and fire wall approved for the installer, as they do some tweaking with your system on line.

Try reinstalling yahoo messenger, and see if it comes up again. most likely its was a bad install. Reinstall should take care of it.
PS. If your using Windows OS, get trillian, its easier, and no problems...

1st un install yahoo massenger and re start your window and then download your massenger again. if still it will not work. uninstall it and restart your pc now go to run type regedit press F3 and write yahoo massenger or just yahoo whatever u will see delet it and than again restart pc and then download yahoo again.:) it will work:)

try and remove the messenger first from control panel
and then re install it,close all the firewalls and antivirus programs while installing it.then download it.

Your operating windows is currept ..reinstall your windows...
