Yeah, Chronicles is right up there, but I'd have to put my vote in for Battlefield Earth. What a load of rubbish. The novel turned out to be a quite enjoyable read so imagine my horror when they released this shocker. John Travolta came nowhere close to saving this one. Crap actors, crap script....just plain crap.

It was MESSAGE FROM SPACE, and just as we were
going in the inner doors to the seats a little kid about 9 came out
and spoke the immortal words " It sucks "
It is Japanese, with a wooden 3 masted JUNK floating in space
looking for a magic acorn, with an evil empress riding around
in what is clearly a motorized wheelchair that is dressed up to
look like a throne.
This was just weeks before STAR WARS (thank god ), which I saw
11 times, to make up for the horror of MESSAGE from Space.
Message should be honoured, along with Attach of the Killer Tomatoes, as a classic awful movie. I have never seen a trace
of it since, but if you want a movie that has everything you dont want in a movie, look for it.... classic

Battlefield Earth: I finally came to understand why L. Ron Hubbard couldn't make it as a sci-fi writer. Battlefield Earth is the only film that was so bad, I walked out.

Without a doubt it is and always be Battlefield Earth. It was the most incredibly stupid movie any one thought of. I mean who wrote the screenplay, an angry two-year old?
