I hope you realize soccer is the most popular sport in the world.
Most soccer players would ask the following question:
I find it hard to believe that people can ACTUALLY enjoy football. So why do so many people crowd stadiums to watch such a boring sport?
- blind conditioning?
- the hope of getting drunk?
- the hope of starting a riot?
- to get away from the house?
- excuse to get away from the office?
Ofcourse, this is not my opinion. However, I do enjoy watching the game. It's amazing what people can do with a round ball.

Yes, you do enjoy it, i love soccer mostly european, it's kind of funny that all the sports that we as americans dominate think that those are the best sports and we focus all the attention and the sports that we don't dominate like soccer we minimize them and ridiculize them. Some times i have heard that soccer isn't a man's sport, that it doesn't requiere that much skill or stregnth; i would like to see David Ortiz "the Big Pappy" run to from the goal to midfield and see how he does. Don't judge if you haven't played the game or if you don't know the game.

Well here is the thing. The Atmosphere. Its so great in a stadium especially in other countries other than the USA. These people have grown up loving these teams and when you're there, your a part of it. However, on TV it's not that exciting.. I prefer playing.

Yes! WE REALLY ENJOY SOCCER!!! Because it is exciting, spectacular, technically perfect and absolutely prodigious to watch all those people playing it! It is like a miracle to participate in this fever... When you watch it you become some kind of a gambler. And you get such big deal of adrenaline when you watch technically unique goal! Possibly, once in a lifetime. Poor you are if you can't feel it and understand US! You should try.

I enjoy it a lot more since I actually PLAYED soccer. Once you see how hard it is to control a ball using just your foot, chest, and head....then you go watch these people do it... man, it's BEAUTIFUL to watch.... these people can use their feet better than most people use their hands. To think that someone can use their foot to kick a ball, hook it away from a goalie, and it be perfectly timed for someone to hit the ball with their head (harder than most people can kick it), and it go PERFECTLY into a top corner of the goal.... you couldn't THROW the ball and make it do that, much less kick and hit it off of your head. I love soccer because it truly is "The Beautiful Game"

Yes, they do. I think it's just the ignorant people who ask stupid question like yours that would have a tough time watching a sport you have no interest in.
