How much does a transit worker make? Depends on the which capacity the worker fills as well!

Also what is the OT scale, and how does one get it? Can you stay on the clock indefinately?

don't know watch you make
but for semi-skilled labor (that nor requiring more than a year of training or certification) $12 is about the most some one should get paid
wages should be tied to skills, when this is interrupted, the economic playing field is tipped to favor the semi-skilled while every one else must pay extra (without extra value) to support them

Overtime. Also it is not so much how much you make but how hard you have to work to make it.

It is not restricted to transit workers. Most government employees make more than they should.
