Spots and dark circles under the eyes require two different types of concealer really - spots should be drier where as you should use something light and moisturising under your eyes.

For spots something like Shu Uemura Spot Concealer has medicated properties, and a hygenic tip. Becca also make a great concealer which comes in a medium and thick consistency (in the same tub). Shiseido also do a good medicated concealer.

I find MAC concealers too greasy for anything on on spots. Mac's moistureblend is quite good under the eyes - but it does not have illuminating properties, which is good for the under eye area. Dior do a illuminating concealer, as go Estee Lauder, and both are quite good.

Don't use the some concealer for spots as you do for under eye circles! Spot concealer is too heavy for the delicate under-eye area and will look 'cakey'.

In my experience the best under eye concealer is definately Touches Eclat by Yves Saint Laurent, it is light, super blendable and very natural- best of all IT WORKS! In the UK it retails for about £20 and is worth every penny! If you want to spend less however, Boots No.7 under eye circle concealer is a fantastic alternative, as is Revlons under eye concealer from the 'Skinlights' range.

To conceal spots, and if you are not strapped for cash, use products from Laura Mercier. You can blend them to your exact skin tone and they cover perfectly, whilst still looking natural. Chanel is also expensive, but their foundations and concealers are always very luminous and natural looking.
Cheaper alternatives I can reccommend are 'Boots' No.7, 'Boots' 17, or 'Boots' Natural Collection Cover sticks. All are very inexpensive but really do work- amongst the best in my opinion! Rimmel's cover stick is good, and cheap, but use sparingly if you have more olive toned skin like me, as I think it can look a bit pink. Almay also do some good cover up products, which are also specifically made for sensitive skins, so are good if you are prone to irritation (skin irritation that is!). Additionally, Revlon are always pretty good.

I would definately suggest that you go for a cover stick (shaped like a lipstick) to cover spots as opposed to liquid concealors. I think that liquid concealers look cakey and can also make spots worse because the applicator is constantly going in and out of the concealer, therefore speading bacteria.

Finding the right concealer, in terms of colour, texture etc can be a real pain, so where possible, ask for testers or samples so you can take them home and try them yourself, before you part with a load of cash for something you use once then find you don't like!

I hope my suggestions help you!

you have probably got alot of different answers on this, but the best concealer to use is Rimmel.
Iv tryed many concealer, including very expensive ones, and Rimmel is the best by far and you cannot go wrong for £3.99.

Also its the way you apply it, try this tip u will thank me. Dot the concealer where you need it, preferably with a brush. Pat the concealer in with your finger to blend it. Once you've done that check if theres any areas you need to go over slightly again, do the same thing. This will last all day trust me!

Hi to be honest i dont think any concealer works for spots or dark circles because even the expensive ones dont last long, At the moment ive found quite a cheap one, miss sporty from superdrug and its the best one ive used not so good on spots though but covers dark cirles for a short period of time. The best thing to use is a illuminator or a undereye cream. I found that the superdrug skin intelligents eye brightener is brilliant, My mum got it as its suppose to be for wrinkles and stuff but she said it didnt work so i used it and it took the puffiness out and i had no dark circles. You have to use it everyday though but it is worth it. Also avon illumination stick is good.

I think the best concealer is Mary Kay. But for dark spots and circles, you could also use the Mary Kay Highlighting Pen. Concealer goes on before your foundation, highlighter after. The highlighter has a thinner consistency than concealer, it can also be used for touch ups throughout the day.

Mary kay has a good concealer. Also, I found that Lancomb (can't remember the correct spelling) is very good. I have dark circles around my eyes also. I have found that if you put your concealer on then use a light yellow shade of eyeshadow over where your circles are, it really hides them. You have to keep your hands away from your face. A big problem with people and their makeup fading is constantly touching your face through out the day.

The best concealer is most definitely MAC. It won't look like you are wearing anything. Completely natural. I use it all the time. Just ask one of their makeup artists to pick out a color that will match your skin tone. You'll love it. You only need like a microscopic amount too to do the job. It's the best I've ever used!!!!

Depends on the quality and price of make up that you want. I f you want high quality expensive make up I would suggest sheer cover, ( it works great o under eye circles) If you are on a budget I would reccomend phisicians formula. It wont clog your pores and is designed for people prone to acne.
