There is a lot of places that offer the kind of fashion Avril was into when she was a punk girl. We can be thankful now that the fashion is so in and so many places offer these fashions.

If you have a rugged wear-house near you this would be my first choice, they offer punk name brand fashions at a very low discounted cost. Also they have shoes, underwear, belts, hats, and sunglasses too.

both of the above sights are great for female punk fashions

If there is a store by the name of Nirvana in your mall go there there is a great selection of jeans and shirts. Also try Gadzooks. Spencers offer a lot of accessories like belts, wallets, patches, purses, and other must need items I would defiantly go there. Get a pair of chucks at your local shoe store that offer them, chucks are a must have! Also for some punk accessories you may try Claires/Afterthoughts I get a lot of things there.

You may want to also try Goodwill, the salvation army, or consignment shops for post dated clothes fashions that are back in style. Usually you can find many good things at a discounted cost. You can't really go wrong here, but you have to know what your looking for and inspect it for rips and tears.
Good Luck!

Try either Goodwill or Salvation Army. They usually have a lot of older clothes. Also a place that specializes in vintage clothing such as Cash-in Culture in western PA would be a step in the right direction and more then likely they would have better quality stuff.

I don't think she was EVER punk... when she first started, my little sis and her preppy friends were listening to her... so...

ACTUAL punk is associated with the DIY ethic, though, so thrift stores are good for that, or even just revamped old clothing.

goodwill or salvation army. any thrift clothing store will do. the cool thing about 'goodwill chic' is that the style is anything you want. i even know some people who make their own clothes.
