Well sitting on it is a NECESSITY,it beats messin in your pants. As for the kids Tony-21 and Alisha-18 it would be downright embarrassing for us.Now my 12 year old daughter will come in,prop herself up on the tub and begin a conversation.Even after I tell her that her nose hairs will rot and fall off if she remains in there-she will continue the conversation. Then of course my 10 year old son would not even be caught dead near the door.
I use to think of it this way:::Once you have kids you give up the right to freedom/privacy in the bathroom.NOW the bedroom, they know the only reason to be in our room is if hey are sick or had a nightmare. It is like Jeff Foxworthy once said"you know you really do not have privacy in the bathroom when, your daughter and her friends come in the bathroom while you are showering ,yank back the curtain and ask if they can go over to so and so's house to play"
The WORST thing is when my miniature min-pin comes in props her head up on your under drawers that are 1/2 way down your leg,and just sits there with her big brown eyes looking up at you. That I find a little weird.

Generally I don't like and try to keep him out, but when my son comes in he likes to sit on the floor and talk to me. He's two. So what do you do.

My little guy is only 10 months and doesn't even crawl yet. Thanks for the question, it gives me time to come up with a plan to keep him out. Wait! I have an idea! I'll shut the door and lock it!! Brilliant!!! LOL

I don't have any kids... but I used to BE one of those kinds! LOL!
Sometimes my cats follow me in, though. I don't mind them.
