Suite Life Of Zack and Cody, Paula Deen , Iron Chef America, Trauma Life in The ER, Paramedics, Medical Unknown, Rachel Ray, Lingo these are my favorites I like having Dish network for my local sports and for the tv shows I mentioned also I forgot Saved which is one of my favorites

My favorite show is Animal Cops on Animal Planet. I don't have any kids yet, but my boyfriend (close enough to a kid) likes to watch those World Poker Shows.
I think it is worth the money, but that's just because I'm used to having it (my cable is included in my rent each month, so I really have no choice). My mom has dish, and I think that all in all, it is better than cable, and cheaper as well. You also tend to get more channels, and have more packages to chose from.

You get a lot more programming with dish than cable. But with the dish you experience some blackouts especially when the weather is bad. Cable you get better service because they are usually there locally and respond time is better. And also you can get local channels without having to pay extra. My favorite shows right now are Girlfriends and Nip/Tuck on Foxnet. Nip/Tuck is an amazing show. It is probably one of the most real shows on TV. Reality shows cannot compare to it.

Is E! a cable channel if so "The Soup". Oh and Nip/Tuck, a lot of cartoons on Nickelodeon, The Colbert Report, and Mythbusters.

Weeds on Showtime is my favorite. I watch all the MTV shows.
Is it worth it. No, but have to have it to keep the price of cable modem down.
