My husband loves his job but I don't think he is making what he should be. He went to a welding school and is certifited in many types of welding and fabrication work. He has been at his current job for a little over a year now. Should he ask for a raise?

They make about $18.00/hr according to my uncle who is a welder in a Chicago suburb.

I would be thinking a minimum of 20 per hour. Thats what ours make
