it depends on what aspects you are looking at. In some higher level ways it is homogenous.

yes...i dont know what part you mean though. we are all different races, religions, etc. the world itself is heterogenous as well because there are different climates and landscapes. if the world was homogenous we would all be the same and the environment would look the same.
