Can not be only what you eat (or what you don't) have to combined it with exercise, at least 3 times a week. Can be just walking for 30 or 40 mts. Also, eat fish, nuts (especially almonds), vegetables and fruits. If you can handle the taste, drink soy milk, instead of regular. Limit your consumption of eggs, red meat, bacon, and fried food in general. Avoid the fast food burgers and in a matter of months you will see the results. If you want to keep the cholesterol down you have to change how/what you eat and make some life style changes. Once you get used to, it becomes natural.

Cholesterol comes from eating any foods that derive from animals, Chickens, Sheep, Beef, Pork. Watch consumption from these animals, remember that some of the foods can be disguised as milk, eggs, cheese, butter, meat, But its still ok to wear wool and leather, so don't throw out those shoes, hand bags and jumpers as this is not absorbed into our system.

Likelihood is you're eating too fast. Try holding a conversation while sporting a meal so you're certainly not gulping down more than you'll want to feel full.

Garlic is supposed to really help, as does tea, as it has antioxidants. I think Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids are also good. Fresh fish, or suppliments. Talk to your doctor or check out the AHA website.
