My husband works for a car dealership in the service department. He is always getting grease on his clothes and I can't seem to find anything that will take it out. I have tried Dawn, Shout, and several other stain removing items but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have a home remedy that works?

Try Goop, the same stuff he likely uses to wash his hands at work. Work it into the grease areas well before you put the clothes in the wash.

My husband is a welder at Great Dane and they use a black paint mixed with Vaseline for something I'm not sure why but his clothes and boots are covered with it most days and it gets all over everything and the washer is stained with it. He was a mechanic before that so we have tons of experience with it we go to the automotive department at wal-mart and get Castrol Super Clean it's a big purple bottle about 6 dollars for the gallon container add a little to your laundry it works like a charm even on old stains. It will clean anything fantastically I love it and mix it and water in a spray bottle and clean everything with. It is harsh so wear gloves if you use it in a spray bottle. It has the ratios for cleaning tons of stuff on the back, the only cleaner you will ever need.

This ABSOLUTELY works! I promise!
1.) Circle the stain with dish soap (DON'T SKIP THIS STEP!).
2.) Spray the stain with WD40, and allow to set for about 20 minutes to reactivate the grease.
3.) Using the dish soap circle (you MAY want to add more dish soap at this point) and an old tooth brush scrub the stain.
4.) Launder as usual.
GOOD LUCK!!

I feel ya! My husband works at Midas and the entire carpet and furniture are always getting lil' grease spots on them...I use Resolve in the plastic bottle (spray)-works pretty well-sometimes you have to do it twice! Good Luck!

Try Mean Green from Family Dollar or Dollar General. I use it to remove all stains from my laundry.
