We were in Prague six years ago and wrote a travelogue posted on the web sites below:

Prague's a lovely city, and small enough to walk around and see it all. Stop for a drink at the U Prince hotel in the Old Town Square - it has a roof terrace with a great view

Charles bridge, Kampa (you'll be surprised, it's a river bank, you can take a bottle of wine and just sit outside and kick it), Vaclavske namesti (Wenceslav Squere), Petrin ( great view), Old Jewish Cemetery , try also some bars at Mala Strana (to really got the taste of Czech I suggest pub called ''U Cerneho Vola'' - used to be my favorite as a teenager ... I come from Prague).

Charles bridge
Castle
National Museum
Technic Museum
National Theater
Old place
use tram, underground, bus no taxi (is expensive for foreigner)
Zoo (bus 112 I think if not change)
Petrin (mini Eiffel + park + astronomic museum + mirror castle, cable car )
Choose to eat in czech restaurant is cheap and is good atmosphere (often in cellar)
Don't change your money in little boutique. Better change in Bank !
Have a nice trip

The castle. The old town square. The quaint little pubs where beer is cheaper than water. If you have time, a day/overnight trip to Cesky Krumlov would be worth the effort.
