Plugs,wires,cap,rotor,airfilter,fuelfilter,transmission filter and fluid for a real basic tune up ussally just plugs and wires,oh and with most any tune up oil and oil filter.

With modern vehicles about all you need to replace during a tune-up is your spark plugs..if the vehicle has some age on it..more than 5 years and has a dropped cylinder then I would suggest plug wires.. Thinks like fuel filter, air filter should be changed according to usage...probably about every 24,000 miles.

Depends on a type of tune up, what I would normally see done is a change in spark plugs, wires, distributer cap and rotor, or ignition coil, oil change, making sure the fluids are full, and probably just adjustments to the timing if needed and checking the belts.
