but wet her bed twice a night

Well I think the answer to that is obvious.
The plastic pants won't absorb anything and they will just leak out around the leg and waist openings.
The diaper by itself will aborb the urine but when they get wet they will transmit the wetness to the sheets.
My suggestion is to use the diaper then put the plastic pants over the diaper. Make her wear both.

you need to use both the diaper and plastic pants on her at night,they go hand and hand together.my daughter is 12 also and i put a cloth diaper and plastic pants on her at bedtime and they keep her bed dry.

I would take her to the doctor first to make sure its not something medical. I wouldn't use plastic pants, they just seem to be annoying and embarrassing,especially at a sleepover. Instead get her goodnites, they are more like underpants and they don't bulge or crunch like plastic pants.

you cant put a 12 yr old in a diaper...thats is just wrong...but si is a 12 yr old wetting the bed...you need to find out what is wrong with her for her to be wetting the bed!

u need to find out wots rong wit her usually its because sometings worrying her.
is she under any pressure?
and tha lad hoo sed bout her wearing a nappy and plastic pants get a life how wud u feel if u wer her?
