I don't think there's enough X-rays in the first place, so you probably wouldn't be able to see. We don't have much X-ray sources on Earth, and stars don't emit enough X-rays to be seen at such a great distance. However, if there happen to be a supernova 1000 light years away. Then your room will be so bright that your eyes will be damaged pretty fast (assuming your eye is damaged by X-rays). In that case, if you close your eyes, you would still be able to see. If we could somehow tune the supernova's X-rays to visible light (and leave everything else the same), and the Sun's out, the supernova's light would completely overwhelm the Sun's light.

You certainly could "see" through your eye-lids if you were able to detect X-rays with your retina..your ordinary surrounding only for the x-rays would be dull enough,I guess, it wouldn't annoy you to much...the main problem would be, that you could also see gamma rays then..especially brick walls, tiles, rocks and things would probably turn into kind of psychedelic colours, if the different radiation energies would be as colourful to you as different visible light energies are...

yes u would be able to sleep because with the x-ray vision you would be able to turn it on & off and at will. you wouldn't be constantly looking through things. Not like the invisible man and his invisible eyelids.

Yes. X-ray will help detect on infected portion and will have nothing to do with closing the eyes when sleeping.

It is impossible to stay awake more than about seven days. You likely would dream about bones and skeletons, etc.
