Hate them! and they wonder why there is a slump in box office numbers...if someone already knows what is going to happen in a movie, why pay $9 to see it again? People try to argue that they didn't have the technology for the effects they want today, but most of the movies being remade were originally driven my story and acting. CGI has yet to make any movie better.

YES! It is very annoying for me to sit there watching commercials, when almost every commercial announces a new remake. I refuse to watch most remakes, there for I have never seen Bewitched or Yours, Mine & Ours. They wouldn't be the same with out Elizabeth Montgomery, or Lucille Ball. What were they thinking? The next thing you know they're going to do a remake of Gone with the wind & if they do that then I'll never step foot in another movie theater ever again!

super question! i'm p!ssed some lot of them. they does in no way dare to remake say, celebrity Wars, they only digitally remastered it. i'm able to establish why they could remake the countless horror strikes, like Nightmare, so the doomed adolescents interior the movies are not all 70's looking and the recent audiences can relate via fact the sufferers interior the action picture could be everyone of their very own friends. yet there is a few thing to be reported with regard to the classics, fairly conflict. they did no longer have each and all of the elaborate kit returned then and it grow to be all hand-crafted consequences. fairly of only 'remaking' a classic flick they might desire to easily enable it fairly is, the two digitally remaster it or only arise with an entire new action picture completely. it fairly is like while they tried 'colorizing' a team of black and white video clips years in the past, people backlashed against the touching of classics. sometime they're going to touch or redo the incorrect style of action picture (like the Godfather or some thing else only approximately 'holy' to action picture enthusiasts) and there'll be severe backlash!

I couldn't agree with you more!!!! It's also irritating when a movie like Phantom of the Opera get's multiple awards when it goes against an original film. I mean the musical was a smash hit....the movie was a gimme!!!!
