I used to feel this way a lot in my teen years. Love was something I felt, intensely, but it was something that I could not understand. I was prone to all kinds of opinions of other people about how to go about getting a girl and things like that, but none of it worked, and it hurt so much and I felt so vulnerable that it discouraged me to try again.
Later I found that love is easy, and free, and only hurts when you pick the wrong person. What changed? My perspective.
I learned to love myself and respect myself. Once that happened, it wasn’t as crucial that the other person loved me. I knew without a doubt that I was a worthy person, and if that other person couldn’t see it, or didn’t feel the same way, the that was simply that.
Love yourself, first. Nobody is so important that you cannot live without them, but you cannot live without loving yourself. People that live for their lovers and friends have sacrificed the best of themselves.
You’ll get there, just be patient and work from inside your mind to the world outside. Conquer your fears and insecurities, and love will be amazing!

When you let your yourself open up to another person, It sometimes hurts when you love anything, however your head and your heart tend to fight with one another having anything to do with love.
When its the end of something it always hurts, its not that love hurts its the loss that hurts, but when you move on from that and find love again then you forget the pain and go threw it again.
