RB's (I put them first because in fantasy football, they are the most consistent, high scoring players)-
1. Larry Johnson
2. Shaun Alexander
3. LaDanian Tomlinson
4. Rudi Johnson (after these four, there is a big dropoff)
5. Stephen Jackson
QB's (the next biggest consistent scoring position)
1.) Peyton Manning (a big dropoff after him)
2.) Eli Manning
3.) Mark Bulger
4.) Tom Brady
5.) Carson Palmer (if he gets and stays healthy this season)
WR's (the third most important position for scoring)
1. Chad Johnson
2. Steve Smith
3. Marvin Harrison
4. Torry Holt
5. Hines Ward
(there is some argument why Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Bolden aren't on here...that's because there's only one ball... if you get both of these receivers, atleast one of them would likely have a good week)
DEFENSES (not a consistent source of points, but a good defense can be the difference between winning your week and not...and a bad defense will cost you points)
1. Carolina
2. Indianapolis
3. Chicago
4. Pittsburgh
5. Baltimore
TE's (kind of rare to get points from them unless you have one of the few TE's that are primary targets)
1. Antonio Gates
2. Tony Gonzalez
3. Jeremy Shockey (after these three.... it drops off quite a bit)
4. Jason Witten
5. Vernon Davis (I know he's a rookie, but the scouts say he'll be an Antonio Gates calibur player)
K's (the hardest position to judge...)
1. Neil Rackers
2. Adam Vinatieri
3. Shayne Graham
4. Jeff Wilkens
5. Mike Vanderjagt
