Part II: I am writing a book about what foreigners know about America...?

This question is related to the first question that I presented. The question about what, how, foreigners precieve America. I have noticed that anyone can go into a book store a purchase a book about other countries. What happened to America? For example; say I wanted to travel to China, I would buy a book about China that would prepare me for China's customs, things I should know so I will not insult anyone, etc... The good and the bad. Were your preceptions changed once you arrived here. What country did you come from? Where did you get your knowledge of America? I just want America to know how other countries preceive us.

I live in Europe.America used to be this great country(in the 80,90-is) but now is not so hm great...Americans I found very curious,they like to chat and ask where people come from but are very ignorant and uneducated(geographically) cause I have feeling they can hardly find USA in the map of the world...

In general, the rest of the world has a poor opinion of America. But this is not the fault of the American people. But I don`t want to discuss politics here. This is a touchy subject.
To start with America is a continent, a big one. There is North America where the USA is located, Central America and South America. This detail really bothers many people coming from the different countries in this region of the world.
My impression is that people from the USA are very nice, polite and also have weak points like everybody else. In general my impression is very good. I`ve been in your country many times.
Being the most powerful country in the world, some of you think that the rest of the world is not worth getting to know.
But I`ve also noticed that this attitude is slowly changing thanks to globalization and other factors. You are an example, you wonder about what foreigners know about America. We know quite a lot, the media is the first to inform us. This is not quite the same in your case.

I got reported for telling how i feel so i will say I dont like Congress its Foreign policy causes wars

many are to Loud and cannot speak English their Military is that of a second world country almost there But lacking in Discipline they keep asking how good we are when the UN tells them Norway is No 1 and Australia no 2 as the best country to live in and the UK has the best teeth in the world with the UAS at no 10
