Everything goes around in a circle; "What comes around goes around" "The Circle of Life" - all that stuff. A person has to have a measure of love to give in order to receive love in kind.

Nah...I think the actual physical act has nothing to do with love at all. Love has to do with the emotional feelings of two people...their tender affection and care for one another, a passionate interest in spending time or maybe their life together. The sexual aspects are a part of the whole experience...but I don't think sex necessarily represents love and commitment to someone.

I don't think religion has much to do with it really. ( maybe for some people).
But, if you're having sex with someone you just met, or have only been dating for a while, sex is just sex.
To make love to someone is completely different. There are different emotions involved. There's more of a chance of your vulnerability to show, because you want that person to know you really care, unlike someone you just met.

Yes. If your making love, then you would have to be in love or deeply care about that person, in one form or another (ex. close friends or current mate), in order to achieve that feeling. If you're not in love or do not have any abundant feelings for that person, then its just sex, in which the act is intended for some form of self-pleasure or to reproduce (like most other forms of animals)

Yes, it does take love to be able to make love. Making love is an emotional "high" state shared between to people.
This is not to be confused with the act of sexual intercourse (sex) as it is wrongly referred to. Anyone can have sex with no love attachments.
