I'm a high school student and I have really bad sleep deprivation...I have to go to bed at 9 so I can wake up at 5 and the sleep inbetween is fine, its just I always need more: there's this general weariness/exhuastion I constantly feel. Any tips for getting better/more sleep?

If you start a small exercise program and take a look at your diet you will probably get more out of your sleep. I find that if I don't exert myself for a couple days I feel just like you said: kind of listless and tired for no real reason. Try taking a run, wear yourself out a little bit, then the sleep you do get should carry you further.

It could be your diet and the time you are eating. Try to eat healthier and stop 2 hours before sleep. As far as sufficient sleep goes, you can always try to sleep at 8. I have known people like you who have felt the same way. These people usually need about 10-12 hours of sleep and not the usual 7-8. And when they get that, they are revived.
