Yea of course! i own alot pair of shoes, implies that i'm am a open person, willing to take criticism from others, at the same time not wanting to limit my choices =)
Shoes that has very nice sole condition would mean this guy is very delicated; careful person. etc etc
On the other hand if sole is in rough condition may suggest this person as a tough, competitive athlete.
If the surface is very worn, it could mean this guy works in perhaps a construction site?
Ya, from some aspect you can actually judge .. but you should never be too sure k ;o)

I believe so. But then again...shoes depend on what the guy is wearing.

I think what a guy wears on his own time says more about his personality. You know, when he's not working and can wear whatever he wants. The clothes he wears to go out say how he wants to portray himself to the world.

Like anything else, shoes can be used for self-expression. But people often try to project an image, as opposed to showing the real person. So your real pesonality would hide behind this image. If you want people to know your personality, who you are, just be yourself. Let your actions do the talking, not your shoes.

Even though I'm not a guy, I wear raggedy shoes alot, just because it's more comfy. That's because I just don't give a sh*t. So, if you consider that as telling you about my personality, then I guess the answer is yes.

Yes.
Little Worn Tennis shoes: Outgoing, sports type & likes to get dirty.
Perfect Tennis shoes: A show-off. Probably with a min. wage job.
Loafers/Dress Shoes: Business type & doesn't like to get dirty
Cowboy Boots: Sexy, rugged & tough.
Hiking Boots: Rugged & loves nature.
Sandals: A bum. Is free-spirited but doesn't take care of himself.

Sometimes yes. But if the shoes are extra cleaned and shined I can tell that this guy is really paying attention to the tiny details.

i tend to think so,simply because i probably read it in some teeny bopper magazine when i was a kid and it sorta stuck even though i know that logically someones attire has very little to do with who they are as a person

Not really... I guess I'd say if they were all shiny and tight I'd say he was vain. If they were all grubby and old I'd say he didn't care much about his appearance.
