First find out what make your unit is, next type in the make & model number into a search engine to find parts for your unit. Usually the manufacturer offers a natural to propane conversion kit. This will give you instructions on how to do it. It will include new jets or orfices and a spring to replace inside the gas valve. Not to hard for someone mechanically inclined.

Not the easiest of jobs.I take it you mean to install a natural gas cooker into a caravan and run it off propane. For starters you will need to replace the flow regulator on the rear of the appliance so as the flow is in accordance with propane guidelines, then you have to change all the nozzels to each part, hob, grill and oven as these are of a different size for propane. All these are avalible at most good caravan supplies outlet. This is a job that i would advise on getting a corgi engineer to do,not yourself. The cheaper option is to just buy a new propane fueled cooker .....

CB,
Natural gas uses different valves & jets than a propane appliance. This is not something you want to do unless you have training or a very good insurance policy. Leave this to a professional, you will find it much less costly in the long run and safer.

Sometimes the appliance has jets that can be changed, they are usually supplied with the appliance. The place where you bought the appliance may be a good source of information about changing the jets also about obtaining different size jets, or try the manufactures website for this type of information.

Which appliance. Ranges, older ones you just had to turn down the orifices, newer ones you flipped the regulator stem on some or replaced the reg on others. Dryers, there is a kit available from most manufactures consisting in a reg stem, cap, and orifice. Water heaters, cheaper to replace it with one designed for propane, furnaces,oh boy, best off calling your propane dealer, they may do it fo a fee.

if its an older unit you can change the gas jet
newer units require you to change the whole gas regulation system that also contains the gas jet. Many times it is cheaper to just buy a propane unit than to convert a unit over to propane

On some its as easy as reversing the Orfice in the control valve- but if your making a complete change over, ask the Propane dealer to set them up.

you yourself should not. I would call your local gas company and ask if they do this job. This is what they go to school for and if shomething happens well then you have recorse. If you do you may blow up the house along with everything else. These are not DIY jobs
