I think it will be close.

The Tigers are going to play a nice 3 game series in the bronx the last 3 days of this month.

As a Tiger fan I could care less if we have the best record in baseball or not. The fact that they have won 80 games already is simply amazing. This looks to be our first season above the .500 mark since 1993.

Considering where The Tigers have been the last 15 years or so, this season is quite magical. I would love for The Tigers to win the Central division.
Anything beyond that would be icing on the cake.

Tigers are the best in the bigs and when they hold the trophy over their head at the end of the season the world will know. The yanks cant win with either bush in office check the history. Emily just because you dropped out of school before third grade doesn't mean you have to share your ignorance of geography.

I'm really pissed at how the Tigers are doing as of late, and I do believe they could lose the grip of the best record by seasons end to the Yankees, Red Sox, or White Sox for that matter.

The Yanks are only 4 games off the Tigers for the best record in baseball. I would think yes, it is a very good chance.

No, I think the Tigers will have a better record. That said, I wouldn't bet on the Tigers in the playoffs.

no, Yanks are probably team to beat on post-season but Tigers will finish with best record barring major collapse.

i think they yankees will have about the same winning percentage, maybe more, maybe less. all i know for sure is that the tigers have been slowly but surely collapsing.

No, Detroit has been pretty consistent this year. Granted, the most games they lost in a row this year is just four. every time you think their going to roll over and die they surprise you and beat teams they normally lose to.
