I would like to vote for a 3rd party, but it is not realistic. With our current system only a Democrat or Republican can win. So it is a matter of choosing the lesser of 2 evils. Until the Democrats offer a candidate that is not proposing complete socialism the Republican will always be the better choice.
In a hypothetical world where a 3rd party could win, I'd vote for the Constitution party.

Bush will not be a factor, he is not running in 2008..... my vote will depend on he candidate.
If Hclinton runs, my vote will definitely not go to the Democrats. The Republicans need to offer a candidate like Tom Tancredo, someone who is not afraid to speak out about illegal aliens or terrorists. He does not use both sides of his mouth to talk, nor does he fart to the left while speaking to the right.
I would not vote for Bush again because of his failure to put a stop to the invasion of illegal aliens.
All in all, I think it is time for the Republicans and the Democrats to WAKE UP and really take a look at what Americans want..... then stop doing the opposite.

I think that if you're suggesting that a republican would vote a different party because they dissliked Bush, then I don't understand why because Bush isn't going to be running. I think that McCain is ahead right now for the republicans, and even though he has views when it comes to general republican beliefs he has very different solutions to handeling our countries biggest problems right now. Alot of which make more sense to me than the way things are going right now. So my answer to you would be no. If it is McCain against Hilary Clinton I believe most republicans will vote McCain because Hilary is so completely liberal it would be enough to draw republicans away.

People who vote straight ticket ignore the liberal-conservative spectrum that exists within each party. There are Republicans who are more liberal than some Democrats, so that would have to be taken into account before I'd pull the lever for anyone.
But to answer your question, I would be just as likely to vote for a Republican as before Bush got in. Bush is just one man, not the party.

It really depends on who runs. I don't vote for a person based on another person in the party. That is like comparing Joe Liberman to Ted Kennedy. If that was the case, no Democrat could every vote for a Democratic Senator because of what a drunken idiot Mr. "I can't drive over water" is. If they send out a reasonable candidate with views I agree with, I'll vote for him. If the Democrats miraculously pull out a candidate that makes more sense with their views and ideas I would vote for them. I am only a republican because my views are more in line with that party than the Dems but I'll cross lines for a better candidate for the USA any day of the week.

The reason I will vote for a Republican candidate is because of Pres. Bush.

I will vote for a Republican because the neo-Democratic crazy party scares the crap out of me. What happened to the old-school Dems that weren't all libbed out, extremist freaks? Yikes.
