Cabs are reliable but expensive, the bus system is OK but it takes a long time to get anywhere. I agree with the other post, you really need a car in Vegas unless you live close to where you work.

Yes you can. The good news is Las Vegas has many cabs for the size of the city.

Yeah cabs in Vegas are pretty good. When I lived there and we would take trips we would always call the cab company in the morning and tell them what time to pick us up and take us to the airport. They were on time everytime.

Yeah, you can call them. Most Vegas cabbies are pretty good.
Your first trip, though, should be to a used car dealership.
Anyway, just do a search on Yahoo! Yellow pages for taxi

Yeah they will come to the apartments there. I used to live there. and a buddy always relied on the cabs for a while cause his liscence was suspended. The bus system i think is ok too.

Yes, of course. As long as there is an open driveway to pull into, then they can pick you up. It's illegal for them to pick you up in area without an open driveway. (IE- the side of the street on a busy street).
