I know someone that does but you must have a anti virus and firewall software , this is very important , it is free as long as you press the later button when a box comes up asking you to upgrade to limewire 5 ,if you press ok its not free anymore and" later" is in a different position everytime you turn on limewire, cheers x

I do, sometimes. But it gets complicated. First you have to make sure you download the right version of the song. Sometimes it's just a clip and then you downloaded it for nothing. Also, sometimes it takes longer depending on how many people have uploaded that same song onto limewire. If only one person has uploaded it then you might need to click 'find more sources.' Finding more sources usually takes 5-10 minutes. If you are using itunes with limewire, it gets even more complicated. For me, once I upload the songs onto itunes then I have to click on it again and locate the file for some reason. Limewire can be fast, but overall it's disappointing, and somewhat annoying.

Lots of people do despite the fact that most songs are breaching copyright and therefore illegal....beware the viruses though .. there are some real scumbags on there who lurk on Kazaa as well and let you download some real computer nasties!

I use it for songs, software, films, pop music videos, everything really.
I scan everything I download and have rarely had any problems, long as you're careful and check everything before you open it you shouldn't have any problems
