I think Bush is handling Iran as well as anyone could. He's going through the U.N., worthless and impotent though it is, which should garner international support. That also puts the spotlight back on Ahmadinejad, who has continually and loudly mocked the U.N.
In short, Iran is cruisin' for a bruisin'. The only question seems to be whether it will be the U.S. alone or who might join us.
As far as terror threats, it's hard to say. It just doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to set off car bombs and stuff in a country this size. But then, why wouldn't they have done it by now? I'm not saying there's NO threat, just that we're reasonably safe. It's the big metro areas where we should be vigilant.

Oh, it's real alright. Just because we haven't been attacked since 9/11 doesn't mean we won't be. Just look at the arrests made in the UK last week.
I don't doubt for one minute that, if Iran develops a nuclear weapon, she will hesitate to use it against Israel. If she can't develop a delivery system, Iran will put it in a suitcase and have a terrorist bring it to a major Western city.
The Islamic terrorists have absolutely no regard for life: their own, their babies', or anyone else's. Fortunately, there are still good people in the world, like the Islamic woman who ratted out the terrorists who tried to blow up their baby bottles on airplanes.

The treat of terrorism is real and continues to get worse. In both the US and the UK.
The probability of a nuclear war with anyone is remote. Iran doesn't have nuclear weapons yet ! and my never have them..
Should they ever get them then i suspect that something like the old MAD response which prevailed during the cold war will keep them in check!.
It is just possible that either Israel or the US will decide enough is enough and use military force to insure Iran never gets nuclear weapons..

I think the recent airplane fiasco in Britain shows how real the terrorist threat is to the US. I also think that much of it is caused by misguided US foreign policy.
I seriously doubt Iran will be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.

Korea is a more obvious threat not only have they said they have the technology but they are way closer....
the whole Iran thing is about oil.. the fear thing is generated by the government and the media to keep people in line andafraid.. people who are afraid often act like kids "daddy save us".. in this case daddy is an evil man named BUSH but the kiddies dont know that or even question it because they are so scared they just want daddy to protect them
it appears to be working quite well

i imagine of it rather is possible. An enemy does no longer choose missiles. Blowing up a "small" nuclear weapon in a truck on a city highway or on a deliver in a harbor might want to do quite some damage. we are doing what we are able to to stay faraway from it. regardless of the reality that no longer fairly a lot sufficient on the borders. i imagine of it rather is likely more desirable likely than no longer that that is uncomplicated for use interior the U. S. interior the subsequent 5 to ten years. i desire to God i'm incorrect.

First Clinton disregarded the terrorist after all the Embassy's the USS Cole and the attack on the towers in 1993.
If we continue to deny their commitment to our destruction we will watch our city's being destroyed and are people dying in mass numbers.
If Iran gets the nuke's Hezbollah will use them on us for sure
