I became stuck half way up the stairs in my own attic. I was bound and determined that I was going to get a bed box spring up the stair way to store it in the attic. As I lifted, pushed, pulled and jammed this huge thing up the stairs, I became stuck in the corner turn of the stairway with the box spring against me wedged between the stairs and the handrail. That's just one of my "dumb" lessons. Box springs don't "give".

I've also been stuck in a tree. I know that's not so weird but it is if you cut all the branches off beneath you as you went up and now realized have no way down. Well, at least the clothes line was free and the branches no longer snagged the laundry.

My family and I drove into a lake close to the house. We had been there before but didn't notice the new signs. When we tried to leave, the gate was locked and there was no way to get out without knocking down fences. We were stuck there with no one around for about 2 hours until we got someone on the emergency number on the gate. Creepy place.

I have had two different cars breakdown three times in the middle of utah no where! Twice outside a town called Beaver (that is where Butch Cassidy was raised) and once 20 miles north of St George in a tiny town called Leeds. All three trips were either coming or going from Las Vegas.

I was crawling around in the storm drain system by my house when I was about 11 or 12 and tried to climb out of the opening in the curb that went out to the street. My head got stuck in the opening. It took me about 30 minutes of wiggling my head back and forth and scraping up my ears on the concrete before I could get out.

Oh, God.

Once I was standing in my bathtub to clean the window over it. I cleaned the inside of the lower pane and meant to raise the sash halfway so as to clean the outside of the window.

Unfortunately, the sash moved more easily than I anticipated, and I wound up with the fingers of both hands squeezed between the upper and lower sashes.

I felt like a complete fool, standing in my own bathtub with my hands jammed in the window. Trapped like a rat!

(How did I get out...? I pressed down on the inner sash with my chin, and moved the window down far enough to escape.)

My hand got stuck in a drive up banking tube. They had to shut the thing off so it would stop vacunming my hand up with the box.
