I will start my A2 this September, when do I need to start applying for universities if I am planning on going to a university next September?

I would do it around the end of September or beginning of October, it looks better if you get it done sooner rather than later. When I applied it got sent off around the end of September and I started receiving offers about a month or 2 after.

At least start looking the prospectuses some of the universities have already done. Then when the application date arrives (just before or after Christmas), you be a step ahead of the rest of the other Applicants in being able to apply nice and early.

Personally i would start applying soon! You know your AS grades so write to a few uni's or visit their websites for a prospectus. Then find the course you like and contact them for more info, and then apply!

UCAS website will have deadlines. I think it's January at the latest unless you are going to Oxford or Cambridge then it's before!
I would do it as soon as you can, then you will get your offers quicker, I had offers in November I think, so it's a quick process if you get your form in early!
Good luck!

Your school/college should guide you through that.
