What does "i" mean in Apple's "ipod"...?

A lot of electronic products have an 'i' in front of them. i think its because it stands for 'interactive', as most electronic things are.

it doesn't have any specific meaning. Apple puts an "i" in front of most of its products and because all other companies want to be like Apple, they are all doing the same.
