OK get educated in games. It wasn't EA it was the NFL Players Association. They decided ONE group would get the exclusive rights. Well now remember that at this time 2K was still with Sega. Sega didn't have that money. So the NFLPA basically were giving rights to EA and Madden. So now that 2K is part of Take Two, which owns Rockstar, they could have put in a real bid but too late. So to get goofy they bought the exclusive rights to MLB, and almost got into a bidding war for the NHL exclusive rights BUT the NHLPA wouldn't let this happen. Anyway back to the question. Not likely to play the next month but I'm getting it. See I'm going to be getting Saint's Row next week or so and getting Test Drive Unlimited when it comes out next month so yeah going to busy with other games. Including Dead Rising. Eventually I'll proably settle in with Madden and play that for about a month of playing.

I am mad the the 2K football games were taken out to but, I am starting to like Madden, I am getting the game this week and will spend quite a bit of time playing it.

Actually I'm still pissed that EA sports took exclusive rights to the NFL name. 2K sports had gotten good at making a competitive product and now, if you want to play REAL NFL football, you have to go with EA. The enough is a good reason not to buy the game. Having said that, I'm not even downloading it from the web for free.

I will definitely not be spending all my time playing football video games....maybe one or two games a week, but no more. It's not good for your body to be sitting on the couch all day playing video games.
