hi i used to have a hamster until *sniff it passed on. she likes how i am with animals but she won't buy me a new one! She even promised!

How long did your first hamster live and were you cleaning the cage and taking care of it or was your mother?
A hamster cage requires a thorough cleaning (scrubbing out) every week to keep your hamster healthy. Your mom may be just gun-shy about getting you another hamster if the other one died quickly or badly.
I would do as much research as possible on the proper care of a hamster and show your mother what you learned. That way, she would know you were serious about the care and welfare of a new fuzzbutt.

If you got guts then the quickest and most effective way, is to simply go ahead (when you got cash) and buy a hamster.
Show it to your mom and say you just couldnt resist getting it. If she has a heart then she wouldnt make you get rid of it, instead, she'll give you the conditions of having the hamster, maybe she'll also give you a few complaining remarks, and then there you go, YOU HAVE A HAMSTER.

I promise my kids things but only to get them to stop crying - or I just change my mind. Chances are, your mom was probably cleaning the cage and/or felt that it just wasn't worth the trouble! If you took full care of the deceased hamster than she may be looking at $$$ but if she cleaned the cage she is looking at her own time and trouble

Show her how responsible you are and get enough money 2 buy one and research on petstores around your house that sells hamsters and maybe that would work.

lock ur mom in the bathroom with the hamster until she loves it this works!or show her ur responsible by buying everything for the hamster!
