Everyday you curse junk mail, we would love anything from home. You can't call your love ones, like you want to. Your mind wonders about what your love one is doing. You wonder if you die, who will be mommy or daddy to your child(s), because no one will love them like you do. You question your mortality daily. On the outside you remain calm, because that what everyone else is doing. You feel for those get hurt or killed around you. Hard to think or look at any dead child, man or woman and think about what you would do without your child, mother, dad, brother, ETC.. Remember this when you see someone who has come from Iraq. Do you not believe these people deserve our respect?
PS. I came home with schrapnel in my leg and people telling me I was stupid for being there.

Dolphin lover,
That was a very shallow answer. Thanks for being there assisting in babysitting for you nieces and/or nephews. Sorry you have to endure that. Sorry you were unable to understand what the point is. Maybe you need to talk to you family when they come home and God willing they come home.

I cant imagine what its like for any service member over seas , but im the daughter of a man that served his country in Viet Nam, and i appreciate all of what the service members are doing.. Dont let people get u down.. they are to ignorant to understand, and have no clue what honoring their country means..whether people think the war is wrong or not, they need to support the troops, the troops dont have a choice .. they go where they are told and do what they were trained to do.. God Bless all that are in Iraq and everywhere else that are in the military, EVEN MY X HUSBAND who is currently serving in Iraq.. Serve ur country with honor and diginity and let the morons be morons, if it wasnt for you, they wouldnt know what freedom was.. Good luck, get well soon.. AND THANK U FOR DOING ALL THAT U DO..

Yes I do realize how hard it is being over there fighting for our country. I have 3 SISTERS and THEIR HUSBANDS are THERE!! We are taking care of all their children too. I'm not understanding what exactly your point is. It sounds to me that you need some professional help to deal with your situation. Good Luck!

I say "hats Off " to anyone who has been in Iraq...and anyone who can't be proud of our troops over there is a very sad sad person
My freinds daughter has been over ther and returned safely...I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to be over there..Although with having journalists and cameramen over there, I have a clue as to what it's like........
