You can go by train every hour at 07/08/09/10 and so on...
Travel time is 2h40min, the fare is something about 21EUR.

I would recommend the train. If you take the express train, you'll get there under 3 hours. The local train will take much longer, but you still can relax and just get there.
The bus will take forever because the route from Krakow to Warsaw is being constantly developed and it is not a highway yet, which means very slow residential zones, road construction blocks, frequent stops. Plus your comfort level is going to be very low.

taking the train is the best idea! Take the express or intercity train and you will get there faster with less stops. Warsaw has three major train railway stations: Western Warsaw (Warszawa Zachodnia), Central Warsaw(Warszawa Centralna) which is located in the center of the city, and Eastern Warsaw (Warszawa Wschodnia). So make sure you get off at the one you want.

Train is probably most comfortable (although a little more expensive). Takes about 3 hours.
