FaithWorkz,

The best decision I ever made, was also the hardest. It was a matter of great sprirtual struggle, and took years to reconcile. It was when I left my leadership position in an organized church, and set out to build a relationship with our Father, without the baggage of man's religious traditions. You can only imagine the battle I had to endure over this. Nobody, and I mean nobody, thought that it was a good idea. I was on my own, living on pure faith. I was called a backslider, a betrayer, and my salvation was even brought into question. Needless to say, I spent more time in prayer, and in God's Presence, than ever before, looking for guidance and reassurance. By the time I finally discovered the secret I'd been looking for, three years had gone by. At last, I learned that if the Spirit of God, is not dwelling in your heart, and controlling your life, you have not entered the Kingdom of God. This Kingdom, is a spiritual brotherhood, composed of all those who are Spirit Filled, and has nothing to do with religion, no disrespect intended. God doesn't have denominations, or churches. He has Children.

wrote off a best friend of 15 years. I could never find a partner and everytime I would find someone he would try to run them off. He was negative and always wanting to be the center of attention. The stories go on and on! Straw that broke the camels back was when I used as a reference to a high profile job and was actually told I had the job. Found out later after the fact I didn't get it that I had given them a bad reference. Now I am employed making more money that I have ever made and have a partner of 2 years!
