Hi Bubbles, try adding a small piece of ginger to boiling water and drinking that. Apart from helping the craving it also is a detox which helps get rid of all that s**** from your body leaving your skin glowing! Cinnamon is also good for cravings!

Try the nicotine gum, but definitely think about and write down everything about your cravings......then read them over before you have a cig!
Do hard cardio like running, jumping jacks, etc., enough to get the nicotine out of your lungs, that will help more than you can imagine!
Keep up the good work!

i know how ya feel love.. firstly congrats on taking the first steps..you're doing really well..and secondly,i can only advise u to try distracting yourself when the cravings come.. meals were always the worst for me.. go for a walk, wash up..something you can focus on that takes a little bit of time..the more times u do it the weaker the cravings will become..not giving in takes the strength out of addiction so keep it up..you can do it..it will get easier.. its such a lovely feeling when u'r used to it.

occupy yourself with desert/chocolate etc.
Ive given up know for 3 months, the first two weeks are the worst. Allow yourself to put on loads of weight, then motivate yourself to get to the gym, this will pass any frustration and help you become healthier.
Stick with it - if in doubt visit QUIT on-line they helped me out a treat. They have a free phone number to call if you need to talk.
good luck

After meals, I would suggest using a pen as a "substitute cigarette"......It helps with the hand twitch as well. Lollipops help as well......The first week is always the hardest..Keep up the good work

Well done!
Drink aglass of water, apparently that gets rid of the craving.
I find going into a room of smokers with the windows and doors shut makes me want to gag, and changes my mind.
But I havent managed to quit yet.....

craving is a really good opportunity to study your own mind. i had real difficulty giving up smoking until a very wise friend of mine told me that cravings only ever last for a few minutes at a time and that when one crept up on me i should practise trying to spot it and study what thought patterns begin to happen when they occur, once you kind of observe your cravings and become aware of them, they become weaker and you can begin to avoid reacting upon them, i promise you this will work if you stick with it as it lessens your reactivity and increases your ability to make positive choices.
