Do away with immigration! Radical??? not really, just have a rule that NO-ONE, not even British born people get any form of government help unless they have worked for 10 years! All immigrants must be able to pay for their health care, or their employers must have a health care scheme. Any crime committed results in immediate deportation after the sentance is finished. We cannot blame immigrants for coming to a country that appears to offer so much free stuff.... if you could get to say America, and then they would give you a house, a swimming pool a pickup truck, free health care,food and pocket money for the rest of your life... whatwould you do to get there!
People who are on the dole should have to do government jobs, eg sweep the streets, clean graffiti of the walls, clean public toilets, help out in charity shops or with charities.... they shouldnot be allowed to stay at home and get out of the 9-5 working regime. I am sick of hearing how much better off those are on the dole, than those who work, and how they feel its is their right to stay at home with their children, while thoseof us that work feel we cannot afford them.
The dole should provide a roof and food on the table.... not extras like TV, car, holidays etc

I have always thought that the Australian 'points system' is by the far the most fair and beneficial system to implement. Basically, the immigrant has to satifsy the relevant authorities that they have the necessary number of points to enter the country; and if they do, they are admitted entry.
The number of points each potential immigrant has depends upon a number of variables, such as:
Whether they speak English;
Whether their occupation is one that is in high demand within the country;
Their prospects of employment;
And so on.
It is far preferable to system we have at present which seems to lack any clear policy.

that's "uneducated people... who drain our country's resources."
I don't know. Stop paying benefits maybe. Make 'em work for a living? Maybe even just fix benefits so if you start claiming when you have no kids, that's the level of dole you get even if you choose to have seven kids. My wages didn't go up when we had an extra kid so why should the dole?

Well, since England went out and drained most parts of the world of its resources during colonialism and other failed foreign policies , I feel the UK is reaping its just rewards.

the economy needs the influx of immgriants just so that it can support itself however, our immigration policy should be strict to only skilled people such as teachers, nurses, doctors etc... the policy should be one so that we only allow people who have a certain skilll that is in short demand to come , there also not be any grey areas.

A solid reliable system of vetting immigrants needs to be introduced quickly, with the illegals already here shown the door.

he Uk should adpot an immigration policy similar to Australia, where one has to have a skill that can't be filled within the existing population, and that one has enough solvent cash to support themselves. It should be a strict policy with no grey areas and should be enforced as soon as possible

in 1601 there was a law passed called the elisabethan poor laws.
anyone who was in need went back to their place of birth and that community was responsible for them.
had that not been changed then there would be no problems or claims of racism.

It is an impossible task and many governments have been tackling this problem for years.
Even when China and the USSR had there borders closed, they still had the problem.
