If the world was to start all over again????

Is there anything we could do ….to not lead it to end the way it has?????

I don’t know remove all the bad history, erase all the wars from the past…ummm have a more strict policy or something… :)

If the world would start from scratch all over again, there would be war all over again. It's not because it's something we need to do, but because it's something that's neccessary for surivival (in earlier times) and done for various cultural reasons (crusades anyone?)

The problem is that it sounds like you're unhappy with the way the world is now. Let me assure you that the world is a pretty damn good place.

However, it'd be a whole lot better if there were more wars to allow people to get out of their authoritarian regimes.

For example, Africa. We drop food for the people and what happens? Whoever is the rebels at the time sweep in with their vehicles and snag the food from the starving people, shooting anyone that gets close.

Unfortunately, you cannot stop this by talking, sending more aid or anything short of forcing them to give up.

You know, alot of people stick to the mentality of "war, what is it good for, absolutely nothing."

But that's not true. War (or the threat there of) keeps many of our more dangerous enemies at bay. Do you really think North Korea would stay to itself if it knew no one would fight back?

Also, wars save people. A perfect example are the Jewish people in concentration camps during WWII.

Now, I know what you're saying. You're saying "What if we made the world war free?"

To that I say, what would you do to the evil people that murder children, rape and steal? Do you kill them? Do you let them be?

See, the problem with many anti-war people (Not saying you in this example) don't understand that sometimes you just can't reason with people. They're going to do what they want to do regardless of what you tell them. This goes for good people and evil people.

The good people, like Mother Theresa went out to help people when she was told not to. The bad people do the same.

War is a horrible truth. I personally would prefer not to have war in this world, but I realize it's a fantasy.

Well, for starters we could erase any history of war, we should maintain control of the population better, and there wouldn't be as many shopping centers and mall as there are now. I think the earth could stand as one single nation, but everyone would still be able to worship as they pleased. Travel from one place to another would be easier, and there would be no such thing as terrorism. I do have other thoughts on the subject, but I can't go into them here now as I would like to.

If anything, if we still had the technology of today (and continued to keep growing) we'd probably still end up destroying it. not by choice, but that's how we survive. Oddly enough, what makes us survive is what's killing us. Irony at it's best!
