Why is Israel killing so many Palestinians?

Sitting in London or New York, the news that Gaza lost 151 souls, most of them civilians, last month to Israeli bombs and bullets passes us by. It is after all just a number, even if a high one. At best, a number like that from a place we don't know, suffered by a people whose names we can't pronounce, makes us pause, even sigh with regret. But it cannot move us to anger. - Jonathan Cook

From reading some of the answers to your question it looks very obvious why not so many people seem to care.

People in American and in the UK are so ill informed about the reality in that part of the world, they have no sympathy to the Palestinians.

For the past 50 years, the Jewish lobby through the news media and Hollywood have managed to convince people that Palestinians are monsters out to kill Jews and Christians indiscriminately while portraying the Jewish as a nation of peace loving people whom suffered a great deal on the hands of Hitler and the Arabs.

My biggest regret is that the majority of people will believe what ever their favorite news channel tells them and never wonder for them selves if this is the truth or if there is more to it.

A couple of simple questions:

1- Why in every history book that land is called "Palestine" and not Israel, even during the days of King David?

2-Why is there Palestinian refugee camps?

3-Why don't all the Jews move to Israel and stop living in other countries if they truly believe it is God promised land?

Because the state of Israel was created for the Jews who were persecuted by the Nazi regime of the 2nd World War, the Israeli's are prepared to defend their homeland, just as anyone else would. The difference is that the Israeli's are using American Technology whereas Hezbollah are using the same tactics that the IRA used against the UK mainland. It is quite ironic when you consider that in in biblical times the palestinians and the jews were the same people. They were all cannites!

You don't understand the problem at all. The aggression on the part of the Palestinians has been continuing for years, and there were many attacks on farms, schools and others and now you say that the Palestinians are guiltless.Look at the history of the last fifty years, with the terrorist attacks against Israel. At some time people reach a conclusion that enough is enough. Read the history of the negotiations to return captured land, revise borders to appease the Palestinians but to have the murders, bombings and attacks continue. Check your history.

1st Incident - countless days in the past, 3 Palestinians belonging to the Al-Aqsa brigades drove via yet another vehicle and shot into it effectively killing the harmless unsuspecting individual interior. The IDF got here across and surrounded the abode of people who committed this terrible crime. They refused to return out and after an exchange of hearth, all 3 have been shot down. As for the 2d incident - 3 Palestinians attempting to infiltrate have been shot. The border fence is a a closed defense force zone and that's common to all and sundry there. in spite of that, Israeli plane fired warning photos, yet those 3 have been desperate to pass the fence for although reason that they had or perhaps interior the face of warning photos, they did no longer pass lower back. needless to say they weren't there on a picnic. Yeah, the two incidents sound very random to me.

Naturally, your place of location effects Your perceptions, things look much different from a closer point of inspection.
Israel would stop killing Palestiniansin Gaza, when the Gaza part of Palestine will stop being a source of rockets, ambushes and other forms of aggression towards Israel.
Israel would allow Palestinian workers to work in Israel, and resume commercial relations, when the danger to Israel has passed.
until that time, and since I don't pretend objectivity in this matter, I hope the number of casualties on the Palestinian side will far exceed those on the Israeli side.

1) Islamic Terrorists hide in civilian populations.
2) Islamic Terrorists mount their weapons on civilians houses, with /without permission.
3) Islam is trying to kill Israelis, and destroy Israel.
4) In WWII the Allied Forces Carpet Bombed the Axes Powers until hardly a building was left. Germany was flattened, Thousands of Civilian Deaths, Japan;Two Nuclear Bombs Hundreds of Thousands Killed, ALL Civilian, were we wrong ?

It is sad, but true, civilians die in war, but the alternative is to surrender to the enemy !

considering its the jews under attack from these low life islamic fundamentalists, they are doing nothing more than defend themselves. yeah, a lot of civilians got killed, but then, aint that the way the creeps fight there wars, behind the innocents.you have to look at the big picture...hezbolah attempted to get the sympathy of the muslim world, thereby dragging the whole region into the conflict. dont forget the aim of islam, is to islamatise the whole world, wether you like it or not. some democracy this , that stones to death pregnant and juvenile girls.

Israel prides itself on its Military's toys,which we saw recently showed an embarrassing spectacle to themselves surely you cannot ask such wimps as Israel to justify there actions let alone be able to fight a real ground battle.

Israelis kill Palestinians but still the the Palestinian population grows,Israels days are numbered and one day it will pay for all the atrocities it has inflicted on every Arab,man,women and child.

Israel does not kill Palestine s they defend themselves from Hamas. Hamas tells there people to come in places where they store there weapons such as schools, hospitals, and mosques. The IDF warns the Palestine s to get out before they attack. We should side with Israel because they are the only pro-American country in the Middle East

If you ask me: Jews and Muslims kill each other, and they are both terrorist. But I support Palestine's because they are the one who are oppressed. Jews control the country and politics, so they have all power to make changes. If they can't do it, they are not worth to have a country or to be in a power. Jews should change their politics which surely don't work and don't show any positive results.
