I've missed my period, however, I noticed very slight spotting, two days after I should have gotten my period, not the usual type of flow. Am I pregnant, (I can't go get a test for another two days), and if not, what's up with the light/nonexistent flow all of a sudden?

if you've missed your period then you can take a pregnancy test...most of them can detect the pregnancy hormone about 3 days before your missed period. and yes, spotting can happen when you're pregnant...it's called implantation bleeding.

It is possible to spot and it can be totally normal, but it can also be an early sign of miscarriage or another problem. Once you get the test and confirm that you are pregnant make a doctor's appointment as soon as possible. The doctor will do an ultrasound and will be able to tell you how advanced your pregnancy is and may be able to tell you if there are any early signs of problems or if it appears the pregnancy is going to terminate itself.

If you turn out not to be pregnant, it could be lots of stuff - hormones, infection, stress. I would wait until next month and see what happens (if you're not pregnant, of course!) and if it's still a little off I'd go see the doctor about it.

it is definetely possible to spot during the first trimester of pregnancy. if you do not know if you are pregnant, but have lost a lot of weight recently or gained weight for that matter, or been particularly stressed, all of those thing can have an effect on what your period does in a given month. no matter what you find out through a pregnancy test, etc...you really need to talk to your doctor a.s.a.p. and make sure everything is working okay!
congratulations! if you are pregnant :)

Yes, it is possible to still spot during your first trimester. This spotting is due to your hormones not 100% being in sync with the pregnancy. Not to worry this will soon subside.
