A spell for a loved one to return?

Question

The love of my life is leaving me but I know in my heart of hearts that we were meant to be together. Does anyone know a (simple) spell to return someone to you. (obvioulsy only if they are meant to!!)

You could do a spell or you could leave it up to fate. (Keeping in mind the old cliche that 'If you love someone let them go. If you are meant to be together they will come back.")

If you do a spell to return someone to you I don't feel it would have anymore effect than letting fate run its course. All it would probably do at this point is put your mind at ease knowing that you have done all you can without manipulating his free will.

(Which, again, probably isn't any different than if you had let it alone.)

However, if you are still interested in a spell after seeing all the responses you got here I would be happy to write you a spell for this. (But it will be just that-- ONLY if it is meant to be, and it will not specify a time frame for him returning, only that he return if and when it is what is for the greatest good to all involved.)

NO! NEVER, EVER ATTEMPT TO OVERTURN FREE WILL.
The law of threefold returns will come knocking at your door, you will not get exactly what you want and you will probably get exactly what you don't want.

Example:
You cast a spell for your loved ones return to you.
He is involved in a car crash, he is paralysed from the neck down, he has nowhere else to go, will you look after him?
You got exactly what you asked for, with a lesson in attracting bad Karma on the side.

Please don't do it.

Accept this breakup for what it is, embrace the lessons it has taught you, look forward to the new horizons it has opened up for you, await the time for the next loving soul to share your life, for no-one enters your life by accident and above all; love yourself.

Have you ever heard the saying "If you love something enough, you will let it go"? I know you find it hard to understand, we all do at some point in our lives, but I find myself agreeing with the xtian answerer. This is simply about control and self-centred desires. You are concerned more about yourself than the one you profess to love so dearly.

Magic that controls someone against their will, is not good. There are consequences that occur from such things. I know.

If they are "meant to" return, trust me, they will, without the need for you to cast a spell on them. What's to say that this will not ultimately bring you both closer? What if you tried a spell and that ruined the way things were meant to be?

Look within for your answers, not to something you truly don't believe in as a last ditch effort to hold onto what YOU want. That is self-serving and not a great show of ones character, I'm sorry to say.

Sit with a candle and your love's picture. Ask your higher spirit or guardian to help you. Ask that the outcome will be right and that you will find the strength to overcome the heartache you have suffered. Give it up to them and accept whatever happens with good grace. If it is not meant to be, then you will move on and another person will arrive on the scene who will make you feel safe and secure without spells. Blessed Be.

Trouble with the heart is that it can be deceptive :( Just cos you feel something it doesn't mean he does. And actually if you could manipulate a person to come back with some sort of incantation then that would be a false love. Would you want that?

I would have thought that true love is something manipulated and clean of any magical intervention. It would be better i think to say a little prayer and ask Jesus to help you. xx

Look there are many spells but his luv wont be true it be fake & in the long run it would hurt you bouth.Look i let a guy that i luv go & we steal luv each other very much.We know that we are meat 2 be together & we will when are paths are ready.Trust me it 's hard 4 me when he say that he is going out w/some 1.but he is unhappy as much as i am.just hold on if it's the way you have 2 go right now do it .Trust me i know that it's hard but i will be w/him & if you wait you will be w/your lost luv.I know that this is hard 4 u but it's part of your path

Sorry, I know nothing about spells, why is your love leaving you, is it for his work or because he thinks your relationship is going nowhere, if its the latter then try to talk to him about it, if you are meant to be together then fate will find a way, if its his work then why not go with him, life is too short for ifs, buts and maybes, don't do spells, your instincts are much better.

There are plenty out there, but I would advise you not to do it. The Wiccan rede sates: Do what you will, but harm none. This also applies to interfering with one's free will. If it is his free will to leave you, don't mess with that. You'll end up with a 3-fold karmic debt.

Furthermore, you could do the spell for him to return, but the only way he might return is in a bodybag (a harsh example). Would you want this? Please don't interfere with one's free will, as much as it may hurt. I don't agree with "love" spells for the same reason.

If you really love this person, let him go, if you are really meant to be, he will return on his own. Do not try any sort of "spell" on him. I know better than anyone how you feel but it will get better someday. It is very difficult for you and quite easy for me to say this to you and time is the best medicine. Chin up!
