I love going to craft shows, either to just browse and see whats new in the craft world, chat with other crafters. I love looking at needlework, ceramics, wood items and handmade Christmas ornaments. I guess I've dragged my kids to so many craft shows, they now know what I'am looking for, or find things I like.
I'm willing to spend the extra dollar on a item that I cant make, such as something that is tole painted. Sure I can buy a painted shelf at the dollar store for 10 dollars that was made in Japan or Mexico, but I'd rather support a local Artist. Also I love hand knitted or crochet lace. I also enjoy the booths that sell the patterns or kits, so that I can take it home and make myself.

that is a sturdy theory if it really is basically fairly sturdy pals. you would possibly want to need to imagine it out slightly more desirable even with the undeniable fact that if there'll be an excellent form of folk or human beings you do not comprehend properly. maximum residences have regulations about no longer doing any company in them. So be careful. examine your contract to be positive. One party might want to no longer be going to be an issue. no matter if that is a fulfillment and that is advisable to have more desirable activities, settle on to promote on the cyber web or through craft gala's, you'll likely want to go on your interior sight SBA workplace. they could help you get off on the right foot and would help you contact each and each of the places you want to get licenses, coverage, DBA and discover out when you're even allowed to even run a company the position you're at. some places do not care how a lot funds you're making and do not differentiate between pursuits and company at the same time as it comprises licensing and taxes. Others have a max quantity you may make previously you ought to purchase a license. it may get loopy too when you're promoting in diverse cities or counties. absolutely everyone's regulations are diverse.

First of all, very best of luck with your show! We have been selling hand-crafted jewellery and home decor items at markets and craft fairs in the North of England for eight months now - up to press we find that jewellery, especially necklaces and earrings, sell the best.

If we go to craft fairs we tend to buy what catches our eye - i.e. anything colourful and a bit different.

Things we especially like: anything stitched - cross stitch in particular; handmade soaps; aromatherapy oils or anything made with them; unusual paper items - really nice greetings cards, handmade paper, notebooks, that sort of thing; candles and candleholders; food - e.g. chutneys, breads etc; windchimes; metalwork home decor.

And, of course, jewellery!

Hope this helps, kind regards.
