Because these 2 countries fall in world's top 10 populous countries; and cricket is a craze in these countires. Cricket could have been started by England or a national game of Australia, apart from England, but sub-continent has the most fan. It is a second religion in these countries.
Well, Inzy did what he felt right at that time and Hair what he did.
Inzy was wrong in the way he protested as there were better ways. It has harmed only Paksitan as they forfeited a almost won match and Inzy face the threat of ban.
Hair is stupid egoist, I would say. He has many past dubious records against his name and it would do good the game of cricket if he is expelled from the elite panel. He did go by laws of cricket book in awarding match to Engalnd, but prior to that he should have shown some proofs of ball tampering. None of the 26 cameras had recorded anything.
