what criticisms/arguments can be posed on the amazing race and/or the american idol series.(ethical or moral)?

arguments or criticisms can be either ethical or moral ones. like for example american idol: flaws in voting via text message or landline..etc.

Amazing Race is a great show that brings people together, or pulls them apart, when dealing with relationships with friends, your significant other and siblings. Even spending time together makes you learn more about your team mate even better. I can't really argu or criticize that show.

As for American Idol, there's been some scandals with voting issues, or with not doing background checks on those contestants who make it past auditions, when it turns up that they have a criminal past, like the twins from last season. Don't forget about Corey too. My only argument and criticism is they should do thorough background checks, and ask them on it, or have it on a piece of paper for criminal history, like you would have for a job application.
