It was very sad. It was just the same old stuff about no response because the people were black, etc.

This is to Robby:

All the questions you asked were answered in the documentary. Pay attention and don't just catch what you want to listen to. Of course the blame would go on the President because he is the President who has control over issues. He lied and said he knew nothing about it but proof was shown that he did. He was on tape talking about the storm before it came and he did nothing, sort of like a previous incident if you get what I'm saying. How dare you say it's bias when it's proven it took 5 DAYS for help to come? They were out there with no food or water. How would you feel if that was your or your family left by their government to die? He did talk about the leevies and how they plan to rebuild them but only to "pre Katrina" status. Obviously that wasn't good enough because it broke so they should want to improve. So get it right and watch the whole documentary before opening your mouth and asking questions that were answered. I thought it was very informative. I applaud Spike Lee for showing us that nothing has changed and people are still in need of help. I watched the all of it and I am shocked to how the insurance companies are acting...All State, yeah right you're in good hands. If that's the case why haven't they given the people of New Orleans their rightful money to rebuild their homes and lives? Spike Lee touched on a lot of issues and this documentary was need.

Well the 3rd and 4th act air today.

He didn't cut anyone slack, blame was put on the mayor, governor, head of FEMA,Homeland Security and the president. Most people will say he chose the racist and class card...well if thats what you feel after watching it than maybe its not him choosing the card but rather the people in charge of getting help to our people (FEMA, Homeland, etc) that chose it, and you're just feeling that as a result.

The facts are presented as we know it. Sure they're might be more that we don't know, but this is what we're given.

The first hand accounts speak louder than all the rhetoric that government officials gave us. I'll take the eyewitness accounts over "official" stories any time of the day.

Why does it seem that every time a Republican answers a question the only thing you hear is hate, but yet they all claim to love God. Most are from the Bible belt. She just wants to know if someone saw the special on HBO. THAT'S IT! Didn't see the special but will watch on August 29.

It was biased, liberal crap.

Here's some questions that Spike forgot to answer:

What happened to the millions of dollars that the federal government gave to New Orleans to fix the levies?

Why didn't Nagan use the school buses to evacuate people?

Why didn't Nagan and Blanco let the Feds help when they offered? The Feds are NOT allowed to take over your city/county/state. It's how the country is set up.

Why were the Democratic governor and Democratic mayor given a full pass on their screw ups while everything was blamed on Bush - who had absolutely no authority to do anything?

Please don't watch. Get your information from a source that cares about truth - not bashing conservatives.

I thought it was moving. It refreshed my memory about how much I dispise this government and how they handled the event.

I did not find it to be racist in any way, the facts were stated, and some opinions thrown in here and there. I felt horrible for the people (black white, hispanic.. everyone) and i felt even more horrible that our government let them all down.

And it re-raised the question I want to know- where *was* the help? Why did it take 5 days before any help arrived??
